Description:
There was a quick presentation on 3D artists and some of their artwork to start off class. Then, students were put into partners and had to pick a scene and two characters from the table. The top of the construction paper was decorated to show the scene that was chosen. In this case, my partner and I had an underwater scene. We also had to cut slits in the scene for our characters to sit on. The two characters we got for this project were a watermelon and a lego piece. To finish off this project, the students had to tell a story about their characters and scene.
An extension activity I would do for this project is have my students combine all of their scenes and all of their characters to create one big story. This would challenge the entire class to work together and incorporate everyone.
